The UK-based Bathrooms International, as the exclusive distributor of JCD and THG products in the Arabian Gulf and Middle East, says it has an enviable 30-year reputation in the Arab market for producing bathrooms of exceptional quality.

"Our esteemed agents throughout the Gulf have represented us well over the course of these years, to assure a supply of our unique products to palaces, private villas, yachts and ocean liners as well as many of the prestigious hotels in the Middle East," says a spokesman for the UK-based company.

He continues: "The mini London bath, complete with a whirlpool system, together with all taps and accessories, were supplied in every bathroom at the Burj Al Arab in Dubai, UAE.

"In addition, Bathrooms International supplied products for the presidential suites at the JW Marriott extension in Dubai, and the Four Seasons Hotel and Les Royals in Amman, Jordan, to name but three."

The company is also proud to have supplied its Falls Spring waterfall spout range, complete with series 'S' taps, accessories and shower fittings for the presidential suites at the Grand Hyatt in Dubai.

"Such was the high specification for the project, coupled with the client's vision, that the consultants - working closely with Bathrooms International's agent Mohamed Zainal Faraidooni - requested samples of JCD fittings to suit their specific requirements.

Some 160 tap ranges are on offer, with 180 stylised items in every range. All are available in a choice of 70 finishes. The accessory items are extensive and feature door knobs, cupboard and drawer knobs to match each tap-head, he says.

The ranges are cast in solid brass in the company's foundry, then hand-polished, plated and assembled in its own factory.

Bathrooms International holds a Master Goldsmith's certificate and is proud that its gold plating is of a standard second to none, according to the spokesman. "A minimum 2 microns of gold over 14 microns of cross-plated metal, over hand-polished brass ensures a lasting perfect finish. Chrome is plated to 18 microns and the finished pieces are like mirrors," he says.

Flat-topped tap fittings can be engraved or etched with hotel or personal logos.

Around 60 different baths, basins, and sanitary ware to match are available in any colour finish, matt or gloss with decoration facilities, he says.

They are manufactured with Ceralite, a resin patented by the company. The whirlpool and airbath systems are self-cleaning and drying with a unique anti-vortex cut out in the waste system, he adds.

In line with its policy to remain both original and ahead of the market, JCD has just launched a new collection featuring Lalique crystal as well as the Art Deco Collection.

"All are on display in Bathrooms International's new flagship showroom in London," he says. "Set over two floors, it displays a vast range of JCD products in stunning settings, including an authentic Art Deco cloakroom housing the Lalique taps and a French-themed setting showing the Art Deco collection."
