The new fish and vegetable market being built by the Al Ain Municipality and Town Planning Department in Al Ain, UAE, will open early next year.
Work on the Dh50 million ($13.61 million) project is on target and the structure of the market has been completed, said Richard Castelino, finance manager of the National Transport and Contracting Company in Abu Dhabi.
The projects covers an area of 26,000 sq m and is being built in three levels to accommodate a supermarket, restaurant, dates and spices suq, and sections for poultry, fish, meat and vegetables.
