Conren International has recently supplied its Rooftex waterproofing material for use at the Al Khor Complex in Doha, Qatar.
The material was specified for use in all areas, and has been applied on the Al Khor Medical Centre by Al Darwish Engineering Company and at the Senior Club by Al-Jaber Engineering Company, which is also an agent for Conren in Qatar.
The client for the project is Ras Laffan Liquefied Natural Gas Company.
Rooftex has been used in the Gulf region for nearly 20 years and has acquired an excellent reputation for reliability over this period and continues to be specified and approved for many of the major projects in the region, says a spokesman for Conren.
''The main areas of use for Rooftex waterproofing system are new and refurbished roofs, wet areas such as bathrooms, shower rooms, and balconies in hotels, planter boxes and fountains, podium decks, foundations and basement areas.
''The Rooftex waterproofing system is based on a cold-applied, moisture curing, modified polyurethane membrane which is seamless and easy to apply to difficult areas,'' he says.
