Khalaf ... best of Reynaers.

Reynaers Aluminium’s stand at The Big 5 show this year aims to create a profound impact on architects and designers visiting the show, impressing them with the company’s latest ranges of superior façade, window and door solutions that have been developed to give free rein to their designing skills.

The vast selection of its latest technology on show will reflect the overlying theme of Reynaers’ showcase that marks a decade in the Middle East for the leading European provider of innovative and sustainable architectural aluminium solutions.

“At the Big 5, we will literally bring our showroom to our stakeholders,” says Ali Khalaf, managing director of Reynaers Middle East, the regional office of the Belgian aluminium systems provider.

He says meticulous planning and research has gone into designing a highly functional stand for the show, where a host of stakeholders are expected to visit, ranging from developers, consultants and architects to contractors and fabricators in the aluminium building industry.

“The choice of systems that will be showcased at this event is based on the latest industry trends and our stakeholders’ inclination towards specific systems,” says Khalaf.

Reynaers has been participating in The Big 5 for several years and every year it strives to bring something that is a class apart from its competitors, he claims.

“The Big 5 provides an interactive forum which help us determine the requirements of both our direct and indirect customers. It also offers us a platform to launch some of our exclusive products and variants,” adds Khalaf.

The industry is currently focused on achieving high technical performances such as durability combined with security which will be reflected through Reynaers’ various products at the exhibition. In addition to the full elements which will adorn the stand, several corner sections of various systems will also be displayed. These include curtain-walls, mainly the CW 50 and CW 60 variants.

Elaborating on the display at the event, Khalaf says: “On one side of the stand, the star attraction is an impressive CW 50 curtain-wall facade, showcasing new innovative solutions that offer unlimited creative freedom for higher glass weights and complex connections of profiles. These solutions represent excellence and ultimate design applications within this proven curtain-wall system. This 4 by 4 m curtain-wall is combined with a CS 77 window featuring a finger lock mechanism.”

“Within our doors and windows line-up, the CS 77 BP and FP will be displayed to showcase bulletproof and fireproof systems. The luxurious Sensity, offering the best in aluminium and wood combination systems, will certainly be an eye-catcher. This premium luxury window system blends a durable exterior aluminium application to resist extreme climatic conditions with beautiful wooden interior finishes to provide warmth and comfort. The hidden high-performance hinges allow large opening elements, whilst guaranteeing perfect design aesthetics,” he says.

New opening possibilities are also presented on the other ranges of sliding and folding door solutions at the show. These include the CP 130 pocket solution which hides multiple vents in a hidden wall cavity with a flush finish, and the versatile CF 77 folding system which allows all elements to open on the same side, offering an ideal solution to create vast openings to the outdoors.

However, Khalaf says, the highlight of this year’s event will be the much-awaited corner solution of the luxury sliding door Hi-Finity.

“Termed as the sliding door with an infinite view, the Hi-Finity corner solution will demonstrate the latest and fully-automated solutions offered by this minimalistic sliding door system. These include creative new open corners as well as glass-to-glass corners for wider external views and access,” he points out.

Additionally, the ES 50 and ES 45 Pa opening system will also be showcased for those requiring affordable quality coupled with superior performance. The corner sections of CP 45 Pa and CP 130 will be presented at the stand as an example within the sliding systems category while the new CF 68 will be shown as part of the folding door series.

Furthermore, the latest Purity handles will be exhibited, both in the form of a panel display as well as the actual product on full element doors and windows at the stand. Both will illustrate the various options of Purity available in terms of colours and opening types.

Khalaf says clients visiting the stand will also be able to learn about the various projects Reynaers has handled since it started operations in the region 10 years ago. Reynaers Middle East caters to the entire GCC and three other Arab countries including Egypt, Jordan and Lebanon.

“Some of Reynaers’ iconic projects spread across the region range from the most talked-about bespoke solution applied for the Ferrari World Abu Dhabi to the recently completed Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay in Bahrain.
