The 104-storey Burj Binghatti Jacob & Co Residences is expected to be the world’s tallest residential tower.

Dubai property developer Binghatti is building some of the most striking and architecturally complex towers in the emirate including the Burj Binghatti Jacob & Co Residences, One by Binghatti, Mercedes-Benz Places by Binghatti, and Bugatti Residences by Binghatti.

To give shape to these four towering projects that feature intricate geometries, the developer has partnered with Austria-based Doka as its main formwork supplier to provide cutting-edge construction solutions for these gravity-defying buildings.

Burj Binghatti Jacob & Co Residences will become the flagship location of luxury horologist brand Jacob & Co and feature a design inspired by the intricacy of the watchmaker; One by Binghatti is a sophisticated waterfront premium apartment complex with access to world-class dining, shopping and entertainment; Mercedes-Benz Places by Binghatti, being developed in cooperation with the German car manufacturer, offers exclusive apartments, each with a private pool; and Bugatti Residences by Binghatti incorporates a meticulously designed, contoured curving facade.

Each project necessitates particular construction ingenuity owing to the unique design, eye-catching geometries and daring heights, according to Binghatti.

Innovative Formwork Solutions

To achieve the required design, Doka says it is applying a combination of products and services to increase onsite efficiency, reduce construction times, optimise construction budgets and, most importantly, keep workers safe.

Sarah Binghatti, Chief Procurement Officer at Binghatti Properties, comments: “Every project is a testament to our commitment to excellence and innovation. Collaborating with Doka allows us to bring our bold architectural visions to life with unmatched precision and efficiency. Doka is already supporting the initial stages of each project with products, services, and technical consultancy to optimise the formwork and scaffolding solutions. Its products, combined with advanced engineering expertise, enable slab formwork, façade installation, and the creation of safe and secure working sites, ensuring the delivery of customised solutions on time and within budget, says the Austrian company.
