UAE-based Azizi Developments made two design consultancy appointments last month for two of its key projects – Azizi Venice, located in the Dubai South and Burj Azizi, coming up on a prime plot of land on Dubai’s Sheikh Zayed Road.

Globally renowned architectural and design firm RMJM has been appointed to provide design consultancy services for its mixed-use community – Azizi Venice, which set entirely on a swimmable crystal blue body of water that is one of the largest lagoons of its kind in the world.

RMJM is known for its innovative, sustainable designs that blend modernist principles with local cultural contexts. The firm’s diverse portfolio includes iconic projects like the Scottish Parliament Building, Capital Gate in Abu Dhabi, and the Dubai International Financial Centre.

Azizi Venice is distinguished by its enormous water lagoon, with multiple beaches, which surrounds all of its condominium buildings, villas and mansions, as well as extensive leisure, retail, and commercial space. On completion, it will boast over 36,000 residential units across more than 100 apartment complexes and over 109 ultra-luxury mansions.

Meanwhile, Azizi Developments has signed up dsgn – a leading interior design consultancy firm – for its ambitious mixed-use tower project, Burj Azizi.

As per the deal, the company will be providing design consultancy services for Burj Azizi, which on completion is set to become the second tallest skyscraper in the world when completed in four years time.

A specialist in interior architecture and design, space planning, and FF&E, dsgn has been involved in notable mega-projects such as the Vida Beach Hotel in Dubai Creek Harbour, Jumeirah Al Naseem in Madinat Jumeirah, as well as a luxury 5-star hotel and serviced apartments project in Al Khobar, KSA.

Once ready, Burj Azizi will feature a vertical shopping mall, luxury residences and opulent penthouses, a seven-star hotel, a one-of-its-kind observation deck, and numerous high-end F&B options, among other unique and breath-taking features and amenities.

Among other developments, Azizi Developments has announced that steady progress is being made on two residential projects – Azizi Vista and Beach Oasis –located in Dubai Studio City,  while its premium condominium project – Amber – located within Al Furjan community is close to completion.

Featuring studio apartments and one- and two-bedroom residences, the 163-unit Azizi Vista is set for completion in Q1 of 2025.

Azizi said its Beach Oasis project now stands nearly 33 per cent complete. A vibrant mixed-use community, Beach Oasis comprises 476 studios, 200 one- and 36 two-bedroom residences spread across two buildings, along with an outstanding array of amenities including a large beach-like swimming pool – a key highlight of the project’s central courtyard.
