Middle East Energy opens this month.

Middle East Energy, the region’s leading energy event, is set to open this month (March 7 to 9) in Dubai with more than 800 exhibitors showcasing their products in five dedicated sectors: backup generators and critical power, transmission and distribution, energy conservation and management, smart solutions and renewables and clean energy.

The event is gearing up to host its inaugural conference, themed ‘Powering The Energy Transition’.

This strategic conference is the only high-level forum exclusively that puts the spotlight on today’s complex opportunities and challenges for senior energy and utilities decision-makers in the Middle East and Africa (MEA), said Informa Markets, the organiser.

Among the exhibitors at the show are Volvo Penta, which will showcase new solutions and services that demonstrate an evolution of the company’s power generation business, including stepping into new segments with new partnerships.

Also at the show, Fluke Corporation, a leading provider of test and measurement equipment, will underscore its expertise in assisting facility management and industrial maintenance firms with energy efficiency, sustainability, and leak detection. A key highlight of its presence at the show will be the demonstration of its new all-in-one SMFT-1000 Multifunction Photovoltaic (PV) Tester, Performance Analyser and I-V Curve Tracer, which will be showcased for the first time in the Middle East.  This innovative product is described as a game-changer in the industry, offering comprehensive testing capabilities in a single, compact device.

Another exhibitor Teledyne FLIR, a US company which specialises in the design and production of thermal imaging cameras and sensors, will showcase its electric utility solutions product portfolio.

The firm will have on display energy saving solutions such as FLIR HD thermal camera with viewfinder, industrial acoustic imaging camera, optical gas imaging camera, and Extech Test & Measurement Solutions for the utilities industry. According to the group, the ground-breaking product on display at the event is Teledyne FLIR T1020 HD thermal imaging camera, which is a powerful tool for maintaining industrial systems.
