Wall-hung toilets give bathrooms a neat and tidy appearance.

An exceptional bathroom can be created to stand out from the rest with Geberit wall-hung technology, which has helped transform the look of modern bathrooms, using strong, supportive frames neatly concealed behind the wall. Paired with Geberit WCs, washbasins and furniture, Geberit Duofix technology provides the perfect solution for any bathroom, says Geberit, the Swiss sanitary solutions provider.

Wall-hung toilets give bathrooms a neat and tidy appearance and make cleaning the floor easier. They have been a standard feature in modern bathrooms for decades and have proven their worth in millions of installations.

“With a wide range of applications and tool-free maintenance, Geberit Duofix not only provides a neat, modern finish, but are also easily installed,” says a spokesman for Geberit. “With this technology, the plumber and the sanitary engineer can choose from a comprehensive range of universal self-supporting installation elements. Together with the associated rails and studs, these elements can be used to create complete, statically load-bearing prewall and partition wall installations including tile-bearing panelling on site.”

The technology enables free placement of the various sanitary appliances. Room-height prewalls do not require anchoring on the back side. Every cistern is tested for watertightness, while Geberit frames are tested to withstand 400 kg of weight. All carry 25-year spare parts availability guarantee.

Solutions are also offered for barrier-free comfort and for corner installations.

One such bathroom installation is the wall-hung Geberit ONE WC, which boasts an elegant, perfectly balanced design.

“A eureka moment comes when opening the lid, revealing the asymmetrical, completely rimless inner geometry of the WC ceramic appliance. The asymmetrical geometry of the ceramic appliance and lateral water inlet result in a unique flushing-out performance with TurboFlush flush technology – which is much more effective than a normal flush, not to mention much quieter and more efficient,” says the spokesman.

Thanks to the sophisticated installation technology, the height of the ceramic appliance can be flexibly adjusted without needing to open up or damage the wall – even years after being installed. In addition, the WC seat and lid can be easily removed with a flick of the wrist for cleaning. The WC lid and seat can be removed individually to ensure easy cleaning by pulling them upwards after raising them.

The wall-hung technology is further complemented by Geberit flush actuator plates, which are offered in a wide range of designs and surface finishes. They combine visual elegance with innovative functions. Whether with organic round or clear geometric actuator buttons, all of the actuator plates impress with high-quality workmanship and easy, convenient operation. Additional functions such as the odour extraction unit behind the actuator plate, touchless functionality and bespoke, customer-specific actuator plates are possible, says the spokesman.
