Saudi Arabia has launched the second phase of projects at Al Wajiha suburb located in Dammam and Qumra community in Qatif Governorate featuring a total of more than 7,700 housing units.
Al Wajiha is one of the largest residential suburbs in the kingdom spread over more than 9 million sq m featuring more than 5,400 housing units that can house 27,000 residents.
The Qumra community, which spreads over an area of more than 1.4 million sq m, provides more than 2,300 housing units.
The projects were inaugurated by Prince Saud bin Naif, Emir of the Eastern Province at a special ceremony held in Dammam.
Prince Saud sponsored the signing of agreements between National Housing Company (NHC) and its real estate developer partners, in the presence of the Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing Majid Al Hogail.
Prince Saud praised the role of the NHC in providing integrated housing communities with services, and finding diverse housing solutions and options that suit the requirements of Saudi families.
