Al Arous will extend over 4 million sq m and offer a host of amenities.

Roshn, Saudi Arabia’s national developer fully owned by the Public Investment Fund (PIF), has announced the launch of its second community development, Al Arous, in northern Jeddah.

Described as the first integrated community in the Red Sea port city, Al Arous will extend over approximately 4 million sq m and comprise more than 18,000 residential units, in addition to key amenites.

Located in north Jeddah, Al Arous will provide residents with good access across the city via main roads and the public transportation network. The community will include parks, pedestrian walkways, bicycle paths, restaurants, cafes, schools and mosques, all of which will be developed to the highest standards.

Like other Roshn communities, it is designed to offer a modern, open lifestyle, while preserving the kingdom’s rich heritage and local urban designs, stated the developer.

Al-Arous is Roshn’s second community development after Sedra in Riyadh, and part of a larger strategy of developing modern and vibrant neighbourhoods in four regions and nine cities in Saudi Arabia. It marks another important step towards realising the Vision 2030 ambitions of raising the quality of life of all Saudi citizens and boosting home-ownership levels across the country.
