The Barrisol Mirror ... modifying space.

BARRISOL, the world leader of stretched ceiling, has introduced stretched Barrisol Mirror sheet, its latest addition to an already exhaustive range of products and finishes.

With a high power of reflection, this amazing sheet merges the reflective capacity of a mirror with the manageability of the sheet and ease of installation, says a company spokesman.

“Barrisol Mirror is the fruit of Barrisol’s research and development endeavours. When suspended from the ceiling, Barrisol Mirror with its reflections, brings subtle or more forceful touches of light and modernity,” he says.

Designed to change the decoration without the need to modify the space, Barrisol Mirror sheets decorate and delimitate spaces, multiply smaller volumes, bringing elegance and design to the rooms they are applied to.

Available in both gold and silver versions, the finishes give space a unique character. The silvery sheet blends into the background like a glass mirror. Resolutely modern, the silvery finish is impressive and displays a beautiful brightness. This innovative material widens spaces, conveying a contemporary and uncluttered touch to decorations.

Reminiscent of ancient Egypt’s bronze mirrors and of the sophistication of neo-classical decorations, the golden finish rekindles spaces with elegance and brilliance. The delicate golden touch combines elegance with the material’s high technical qualities.

The Barrisol Mirror range is extremely light (300 g per sq m, 1.2 kg per sq m), and have been specifically designed to be fixed on aluminium frames and come in many shapes: rectangles, circles, triangles or squares. Mirror touches bring light while large intense frames deepen the space, making Barrisol Mirror sheets a perfect fit for all universes and enhancing inner decorations.

“Barrisol Mirror sheets are works of art, giving free reign to imagination, from classical to bold designs,” says the spokesman.

Like all Barrisol sheets, Barrisol Mirror sheets comply with the European CE norm, are produced with plasticisers guaranteed with no phthalate, no cadmium, no mercury and no arsenic. They are also fire rated following the European and international standards (BS2-D0).

Many designers including Ross Lovegrove as well as renowned international architects such as Zaha Hadid and Manual Gautrand Architecture, have chosen Barrisol Normalu for the realisation of their projects including Museum Enzo Ferrari (Italy), Aquatic Centre in Stratford (UK), Roissy Charles de Gaulle airport (France), the Bugatti showroom (Germany), and the Citroen Champs-Elysées showroom (France).
