JOTUN Paints, one of the leading producers and distributors of paints and powder coatings, recently opened its first Inspiration Centre in Qatar, in partnership with Lulu Regency Group, a long-time strategic partner of Jotun in the country.
The opening of this latest branch complements the company’s ‘closer to consumer’ strategy, which aims to strengthen customer ties and is also part of its expansion initiative that aims to see the launch of 62 Multicolour centres in Qatar before the end of this year.
Measuring 560 sq m, the new centre recreates environments like interiors, exteriors, bedrooms, dining and living rooms to help customers make choices amid ‘real’ settings.
The centre, which showcases projects, colour bars, colour consultation, sample displays and colour advisor, is based on the company’s ‘Inspiration Centre’ concept popularised across the region. The Qatar centre has introduced similar services like supply and apply. The ‘colour bar’ offers clients a total of 960 interior colours and the ‘colour advisor’ helps them to choose from a palette on display and see how the colours will look in different environments, furniture settings and under different lighting conditions.
Located along Salwa Road in Doha, the centre features high quality interior finishes that aims to attract designers, interior architects besides end users.
The outlet was inaugurated by Peder Bohlin, vice-president MEIA (Middle East, India and Africa) region of Jotun, and Khalid Mihran and Amir Udheen, owners Lulu Regency Group, in the presence of Biren Arora, general manager, Jotun Paints, Wael Fahmy, country manager, Jotun Paints-Qatar, and other officials and staff.
“We are seeing major changes in Qatar’s decorative market, proof that this segment is constantly evolving and changing to suit the tastes and other requirements of today’s consumers,” said Fahmy.
To date, the company has opened more than 160 inspiration centres in the region.
