RUMAILLAH Motors is promoting the latest Genie telehandlers – some of which have the best-in-class capacities in the industry – in the Qatari market.
Towards this end, the company showcased several high-performance machines including the Genie GTH-4017, portable aerial work platforms (AWP), and the Z45 boom at the Project Qatar 2013 exhibition held in Doha last month.
Rumaillah Motors, which distributes Genie products in Qatar under an agreement with Terex Aerial Work Platforms (AWP), a business segment of the Terex Corporation, supplies Genie self-propelled scissor lifts, articulating and telescoping booms, portable material lifts, aerial work platforms and telescopic handlers in the region.
Genie telehandlers have been simplified in terms of controls, design and serviceability to become increasingly competitive in both established and emerging lift equipment markets, says Terex AWP.
The GTH 4017, in the four-tonne class, offers a reach of 17.19 m. It delivers an impressive 700-kg lift capacity at a maximum forward reach of 13.3 m. The new design is in line with Genie’s commitment to reduce the complexity and cost of telehandler ownership. With energy efficiency, simple operation and innovative serviceability features for straight-forward maintenance, these redesigned models also offer best-in-class performances in their respective categories from a smaller footprint.
The GTH-4017 SX telehandler features a new-generation cabin designed for operator comfort and productivity, placing controls and load charts within easy reach. The operator can enjoy increased comfort whilst appreciating the power and smoothness of the new hydrostatic transmission. A new four-section boom has been added to the GTH-4017 SX, making the telehandler more compact when fully retracted.
Genie aerial work platforms are an industry favourite due to their ease of use, convenience and flexibility. Their lightweight, manoeuvrability and durable design make them a versatile option for a wide variety of rental, light-duty construction and maintenance applications, the company says.
