OMAN’S premier lifestyle destination The Wave, Muscat, hit the ground running in 2013 with the start of construction of its Siraj and Reehan Gardens phases, which boast a collective 143 apartments and villas at the leading integrated tourism complex.
Siraj, the apartment phase adjacent to the Marsa Village Retail Centre, has sold 95 per cent of its 40 units since its launch in February. Construction of these luxurious apartments commenced in March and completion is anticipated in July 2014, says the Oman Observer.
Investors have also bought up 85 per cent of the units at Reehan Gardens, on which construction started at the end of February. The phase completion is projected for October 2014. Dubbed the ‘Green Precinct’ for its lush green open spaces and public parks, Reehan Gardens comprises 103 large twin villas and traditional detached villas in three- to seven-bedroom configurations designed to make the most efficient use of indoor and outdoor space of the villas.
Construction of Marsa One, Muscat’s first waterfront apartments, is expected to commence this month and about 90 per cent of the units have been sold since its launch last October. Construction on the Marsa Village Retail Centre, which started last November, is steadily progressing and it is expected to be completed in 2014, the newspaper reports. The centre comprises a number of commercial units and retail outlets built over a 12,500-sq-m area.
