FUJAIRAH’S luxury Mina Al Fajer Resort development has entered its final phase with the award of the construction contract for the five-star Fairmont Hotel project overlooking the marina in Dibba.
Mina Al Fajer Real Estate, a leading property developer specialising in luxury projects and resorts, has awarded the deal to the reputable contracting firm Intermass Engineering and Contracting Company.
“The Fairmont Hotel represents the final phase of the Mina Al Fajer Development that also features retail outlets, restaurants and a range of other services to serve residents and visitors to Fujairah,” says a spokesman for the development.
Located at the foot of the Hajar Mountains, the 777,025-sq-ft mixed-use project is the brainchild of Mina Al Fajer Real Estate. Apart from the five-star hotel, the resort boasts a marina, sea-facing mountain villas and luxury apartments.
The Fairmont will have 193 standard rooms and one Presidential suite as well as four restaurants including the Tapas Bar, Pronto Café, lobby bar and an all-day dining restaurant. Other facilities include a swimming pool, spa, gymnasium and a conference centre.
The hotel will be managed by Fairmont Hotels and Resorts, which will also manage the rental of Solarium villas that are available on lease to the general public. The completion of the hotel and adjacent marina will present residents the opportunity for various outdoor leisure activities.
