POWERSCREEN, a leading provider of mobile crushing and screening equipment, has launched the new Powerscreen 1500 Maxtrak, the largest addition to its highly successful Maxtrak range.

The 1500 Maxtrak is specifically developed for larger users. The plant can accept an all-in feed from a primary crusher to produce up to 950 tonnes per hour (tph) of aggregate or mineral. Utilising the Terex Automax cone crusher technology, operators benefit from hydraulic overload protection, hydraulic crusher setting adjustment, excellent product shape and a high reduction ratio.

Further benefits include a highly-efficient crusher direct drive system, large feed hopper complete with metal detector and contaminated material purge facility.

The Powerscreen range of mobile cone crushers is suitable for secondary and tertiary crushing in direct feed applications. The range uses advanced Automax crusher technology to provide high volumes of excellently-shaped product in addition other features such as its high reduction ratio; heavy-duty chassis and track frame; metal detector; and dust suppression system.

The Maxtrak range also includes the 1000, 1000SR and 1300 models. The 1000 cone crusher has been designed for direct feed applications without pre-screening on clean rock. The 1000SR features a re-circulating conveyor and a double-deck screen to provide the complete crushing and screening process on a single chassis.

The 1300 is suitable for secondary and tertiary applications and as a primary crusher on gravel applications. This medium- to large-sized track mobile cone crusher is suited to secondary applications such as taking an “all in-feed” from a primary crusher. The plant excels in the production of sub-base or aggregates, providing excellent cubicity, throughput and reduction ratios.
