The new K7 ... for those who want more.

IN RESPONSE to the growing demand for professional products for private homes, Grohe has launched the new K7 line of kitchen faucets.

“These are the first faucets from Grohe that are clearly modelled on products for professional and industrial kitchens – engineered for functionality but tailored to the demands of the private home,” says a spokesman for Grohe.

“The new luxury faucets reflect the state of the art, are highly durable even under heavy use and comfortable to operate – for maximum usability on a day-to-day basis.

“With its minimalist design, the K7 line clearly looks the part in contemporary kitchens. The faucet is designed for people who want more for their kitchen. K7 fills the gap between professional products for industrial kitchens and conventional sink fittings,” he says.

The K7 faucet line is based on a modular system, which comprises solutions for a wide variety of different architectural and aesthetic requirements. “The two-hole variants, for instance, bring out K7’s clear forms to even greater advantage, thanks to the separation between lever and faucet or between faucet and spray, respectively,” he says.

The high-quality sink fittings with spring spout and professional spray are the latest additions to the Grohe range. The swivel spout can be turned 360 degrees, its freely moving metal spray ensuring maximum flexibility. A switch is used to change from spray pattern to aerator, with no need to interrupt the water flow or keep the switch pressed in a given position. Whether it is washing tomatoes, rinsing lettuce or cleaning knives, K7 ensures absolute freedom of use. The SpeedClean technology prevents lime from building up on the aerator and the nozzles, which can easily be freed from any deposits by wiping with a finger.

The lever of the K7 Professional single-lever mixer can be turned backwards by 30 per cent and forward by 70 per cent. “Thanks to this clever idea, the lever will not hit the back wall. The intelligent design and the professional equipment have a lot more to offer than conventional kitchen faucets,” says the spokesman.

“Reliable Grohe technologies such as Grohe SilkMove for precise control of the water flow or Grohe StarLight for a highly resistant chrome finish mean that K7 is ready to embrace everyday kitchen routines and to assist dedicated amateur chefs with countless chores. The infinitely adjustable volume limiter helps use water sparingly. Functionality is the key to success of these new faucets,” he adds.

The Professional version is available as a single-lever mixer, two-hole faucet or single-lever mixer with a separate ‘professional’ spray. The other K7 models offer a choice between single-lever mixer with or without pull-out handspray or with separate sidespray. Plus there are two-hole faucets consisting of a lever and separate faucet with or without pull-out handspray. Besides Grohe StarLight Chrome, K7 is also available in Supersteel with scratch-resistant stainless steel finish.
