A NEW flyover costing BD63 million ($167 million) has opened at Umm Al Hassam in Bahrain, following the completion of construction work related to the upper flyover of Umm Al Hassam junction and the two western flyovers.
The project forms the first phase of the new Sitra Bridge development, extending from the Umm Al Hassam junction to the Industrial Area junction in Sitra, with a length of 1.5 km along the Shaikh Isa bin Salman Highway. The project also consists of underground infrastructure.
