Dorma Gulf, the Middle East headquarters of Dorma International – a world market leader in door controls, movable walls, glass fittings and automatic door systems – says it is impressed with the response received for its glass partitions range.
Last year, Dorma Gulf Glass Division launched in the Middle East fully-fledged fabrication and assembly services along with complete service and installations of its famed HSW-G horizontal sliding wall system and FSW-G folding sliding walls.
The panels of the HSW-G sliding glass frontage form a continuous, transparent surface – with side frame elements completely absent. The top and bottom glazing rails provide the system with the necessary stability and also contain the auxiliary functional components – all discreetly concealed within the profile.
Each sliding panel can also double up as a door for maximum flexibility. And there is the option of equipping these with various types of closers from Dorma.
The door rails of the FSW-G are connected to one another at the top and bottom by hinges. The closed wall transforms effortlessly into a compact parked stack when required.
“Internationally, Dorma has been known for the quality of its products and we are looking to back the quality of our products with our excellent service locally,” says Nassim Abu Yousef, head of Dorma Gulf Glass Division.
“There are additional factors where Dorma Gulf scores over competition, such as design, fabrication, a quick delivery of complete systems solutions within a period of 8 to 10 days, competitive pricing and installations of these partitions.
“All of this has been possible because of the location of the company’s regional headquarters in the Middle East. This has enabled us to cut down on freight charges and custom duties,” says Abu Yousef.
“At Dorma Gulf we understand the value of our customers’ interest in our products and always look forward to strengthening our ties with them through assuring the best of services at all times,” says Abu Yousef.
Backed by years of experience and the support of its partners, the glass division has become a market leader worldwide offering a wide range of products.
Dorma Glass division is the specialist in glass applications for a range of toughened glass applications. This includes the development and manufacture of glass fittings which facilitates the installation of toughened glass assemblies, sliding shop front systems, structural façade spider systems, internal glass doors as well as shower systems.
“Dorma Gulf Glass Division is in a position to realise each conceivable application for most various usages, for example restaurants, shopping centres, sport arenas, hotels, and so on,” says Abu Yousef.
“This includes the HSW-ISO systems using thermally separated profiles, which have excellent application for use in internal room separations as well as special applications outdoors. The systems offer excellent sound and thermal insulation properties and the panels can be made to disappear from the front space into parking units quite effortlessly.”
“Market trends show that the use of the systems are expected to increase in the future and at Dorma Gulf, we are fully geared to offer competent services that will help us meet the demands,” he says.
