GRNATA Real Estate Group is hoping to repeat the success it enjoyed at the inaugural Gulf Property Show last year, where it clinched a number of real estate-related deals and transactions.

“The visitors’ response was overwhelming towards our services, and that was one of the factors which encouraged our company to participate again this year,” comments Fatima Majeed, lawyer for the group. “Also, it is a perfect occasion to meet new clients, to establish solid business relationships with different types of clients.”

Grnata Real Estate Group, which emerged as an offshoot of Al Farazdaq Real Estate Agency in 1992, provides a gamut of services to the realty sector and has established on robust infrastructure that enables it to meet the challenges of the market.

Headquartered in Seef, Grnata Group consists of Grnata Real Estate, Grnata Real Estate Valuation and Consultation, Grnata Towers Contracting, Grnata Property Management and Development, Grnata Clearance, and Grnata Advertisement.

Grnata Real Estate’s scope of activities includes renting out, sale and purchase of real estate.

Majeed points out Grnata Real Estate Valuation plays a vital role in the market, given that property valuation is a key criterion in ensuring success in the real estate market.

“Valuation should be conducted prudently and precisely because any mistake may cause either an increase or decrease in the property’s actual value,” she says. “We conduct real estate valuation through a qualified valuation committee, which consists of engineers, legal advisers, experienced valuators and accountants.

“Based on the recommendations of this committee, Grnata then prepares a realistic and detailed feasibility study of several projects. Hence, our real estate valuation committee is reputed for its studies, which have become references for the government and many financial institutions and individuals.”

Another important group member is Grnata Towers Contracting, one of Bahrain’s leading construction companies, which is currently involved in large residential and commercial construction projects in Sanabis, Sitra, and Barbar.

Majeed says the company works according to the mechanism of an open market with a commitment to quality, efficiency and corporate social responsibility.

“We have ambitious plans for the future, for example, we are preparing concepts and sketches for new construction schemes and finalising permits from the authorities in order to diversify our portfolio and plan to execute these projects using modern construction techniques and materials,” she explains.

Through Grnata Management and Development, the group now manages properties in various parts of Bahrain including in Umm Al Hassam, Riffa, Arad, Manama, Jid Ali, Sanad, and Barbar.

“This year we have expanded our operations and opened a new office in Umm Al Hassam to look after properties management issues. We have also employed new accountants for the same purpose,” says Majeed.

She continues: “The diversity of the group’s activities in the construction field has enabled it to become not just a service provider but a source for innovation in the industry. It has employed technicians, supervisors and labourers who have been trained in using the most advanced machinery and equipment. That has resulted in excellent quality and maintenance services.”

Grnata will be exhibiting at Stand P005, L007 and L005 at the Gulf Property Show.
