CV SUNTEAK Alliance of Indonesia returns to gulfInteriors after four years, after making a successful debut at the event in 2010, when it closed deals both during and after the show.

“We want to repeat the success through our participation this year and expect better results than before,” says Maria Murliantini, the company’s owner and managing director.

CV Sunteak Alliance was established in 2006 and manufactures furniture and fittings for hotels, apartments and villas. It also supplies various products which can be used in interiors and outdoors such as garden furniture.

At this year’s event, the company intends to promote its indoor range including chairs, dining tables, cabinets, frames, coffee tables and stools as well as its outdoor range such as its sofa collection.

“We will be bringing totally different products and collections and will be targeting new markets at the show,” says Murliantini.

CV Sunteak Alliance also produces certified wood with the company being certified with SVLK (timber legality assurance system of Indonesia), FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) and Trees4Trees, a non-profit foundation in Indonesia.

The company, which registers an annual turnover of $4 million, has its production facilities spread over 4,500 sq m and employs 100 people. CV Sunteak Alliance saw an upturn in business last year and has recently expanded its production capacity and area of operations, and is looking at further expanding its capacity and penetrating new markets.

As part of these plans, the company intends to establish an office in Bahrain, where it has already made inroads having supplied loose furniture and accessories to Ramee Grand Hotel and Spa Bahrain and Ramee group of hotels and resort (January 2014); and a private residence of Almaz Company in 2010.

Commenting on business in the region, Murliantini says: “In our opinion, prospects for the construction industry in the GCC are very good and continue to grow year on year.”
