AWAL Gas, one of the first companies in Bahrain to supply gas cylinders and kitchen appliances, will be showcasing its wealth of experience and top-of-the-range kitchens and appliances when it participates in gulfBID next month.

In addition, it will be introducing new models of kitchen cabinets from Oppein, a top brand in the Chinese cabinetry industry, according to Ahmed Aljasim, director of the company.

Awal Gas’ extensive portfolio includes an exclusive distributorship for Nardi kitchen appliances from Italy, as well as other brands such as Airforce, Smeg, Liebherr, Elica and Italmix.

Catering to the needs of the kitchens segment of the market is its subsidiary Kitchen for Life, which will promote its extensive line of products at the exhibition. Established in Bahrain in 2008, the company supplies wooden and stainless steel products such as kitchen cabinets, closets, vanities, steel cabinets, counter stations, in addition to sinks, taps, and accessories, including tableware.

A photo-realistic design using the latest CAD software is done to allow clients to get a feel of their kitchen. After approval, the order for the materials is placed and once these arrive in Bahrain, the company’s team delivers and installs the kitchen as per the design approved by the customer, Aljasim explains. After-sales service and maintenance is looked after by the company’s customer service team.

Commenting on the construction market in Bahrain, Aljasim says: “Business in better than in previous years. We see new projects coming on the market and are receiving a lot of enquiries.”
