Installux Gulf eyes new markets

Installux Gulf, the Middle East subsidiary of French aluminium systems specialist Installux, is buoyed by the response received for its new Tiaso office partitions in Bahrain, Qatar and the UAE, and is now is looking to promote the range in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.

“We have received several enquiries for the new partitioning systems and we are working on them,' says Tarek Basil of Installux Gulf, Bahrain. 'We are now looking forward to introducing the systems in the booming markets of Kuwait and Saudi Arabia, where we are seeking distributors.”
Recently, the company has made further inroads into the UAE market. “The economical attraction along with the strong characteristics of the Tiaso system, have helped Installux Gulf sign a new distribution agreement with one of the most prestigious companies related to this field in the UAE – Debbas Electric,” says Basil.
He adds: “Debbas considers Tiaso partitions a complementary product to its already flourishing false ceiling and lighting industry. The company has already started marketing Tiaso partitions in the UAE after being trained on the technicalities of the product. Serious negotiations have already commenced with a company to fabricate and distribute Tiaso in Qatar and the first project in Bahrain is expected to be completed by Ashbee Metal Cladding during this month.
Part of the Installux Group of Companies, Tiaso is specialised in the design of demountable aluminium office partitions and is a pioneer in this field since 1965.

Flexible systems
“Partition systems developed by Tiaso are designed to meet the requirements and tastes of today’s modern office needs by providing office systems that are easy to install and remove with minimal damage to existing finishes. The profiles can be coated with any colour the architect desires, including a special kind of sanded/textured powder coating finish that gives profiles a rough texture,' says Basil.
He continues: “The flexibility offered by Tiaso’s demountable aluminium system is endless, allowing for different angles between partitions helps in conserving space and achieving complicated office layouts. Furthermore, the option of using different modules of full- height glazed units, full-height solid units or combinations of both releases the imagination of interior designers and broadens their range of alternatives. Options for different kinds of doors are available as well, from wood to aluminium to frameless glass hinged doors to sliding aluminium or wooden doors and internal automatic sliding doors with sensors. Over panels for these doors can be wood, solid, or glass.
“Having a very simple design, Tiaso makes it easy for businesses to quickly install and remove each module that can be dismantled and interchanged without damaging the adjacent unit. This feature allows the partition to be proactive with developing and emerging requirements of the growing and changing operations of different organisations.
“The system is simply designed and tested to meet the latest international standards with respect to acoustic insulation, shock absorption, removeability and endurance.
“Tiaso partitions eliminate the need for skirting as in the case of gypsum partitions, where a special profile has been developed for electrical wires of high and low voltage. This profile can be installed vertically or horizontally and blends perfectly with the partitions.
“The Tiaso’s new series – the 100 mm Cleazy series – will also provide more options for the designer that allow for recessed joints in between panels, creating a resemblance to structurally glazed curtain walls. Other profiles have been developed to allow for lighting and signage in a corridor way.
“What is more attractive about Tiaso partition systems is that, although it is considered to be an international system, most of its profiles are extruded in the Middle East according to the guidelines specified by Tiaso’s quality control department in France. That means that an international office partition system is available to you at a competitive cost to local prices and much less than other international systems of the same scale. All the accessories however will still come from France,” he concludes.
