Indian construction and engineering conglomerate Larsen & Toubro (L&T) is highlighting its contributions to Saudi Arabia’s energy and infrastructure sectors at the 25th WPC Energy Congress in Riyadh, where the company is participating as an Industry Sponsor.

As Saudi Arabia advances its energy transition and industrial diversification agenda, L&T continues to support the development of critical infrastructure through capabilities spanning offshore and onshore hydrocarbons, renewable energy, power transmission, modular fabrication and manufacturing.

L&T's engagement in Saudi Arabia extends beyond project execution. Since 2023, the company has operated a heavy-wall pressure vessel manufacturing facility, valve manufacturing facility and piping fabrication shop in the Jubail Industrial Area, supporting industrial development and contributing to the In-Kingdom Total Value Add (IKTVA) programme.

Over the years, L&T has delivered a wide range of energy infrastructure across Saudi Arabia and the GCC, including greenfield developments, brownfield upgrades, platform installations, subsea infrastructure, offshore production facilities, crude oil handling and export terminals, and production enhancement programmes.

Through local partnerships, and supplier development initiatives, the company continues to strengthen in-Kingdom capabilities and local supply chains contributing to the growth of a resilient energy ecosystem.

Larsen & Toubro's delegation at the 25th WPC Energy Congress in Riyadh is being led by its Chairman and Managing Director SN Subrahmanyan.

The Indian construction conglomerate is playing an active role in advancing the region’s clean energy ambitions. In Saudi Arabia, the company is contributing to the NEOM Green Hydrogen project through renewable generation, energy storage and transmission structure.

Across the GCC, L&T's renewable portfolio includes more than 38 GWp of solar projects, 22 GWh of battery energy storage systems and 3.5 GW of wind projects. Its Power Transmission & Distribution business has also delivered major grid infrastructure projects, including the 380 kV Arar–Rafah overhead transmission line.

Complementing its engineering strengths, the L&T Group is also driving technology and innovation in the Kingdom through NextEra, a joint venture between LTM and Aramco Digital that delivers next-generation IT services in AI and automation, cloud, data and digital engineering to accelerate Saudi Arabia’s digital transformation under Vision 2030.

Commenting on L&T’s participation, T.
