Wynn Al Marjan Island has unveiled the new design for its premium project Wynn Marina, reimagining the traditional marina as a vibrant waterfront destination and a seamless gateway into the wider resort.
Located on Al Marjan Island in the northern emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, the Wynn Al Marjan Island is a $5.7 billion beachfront integrated resort set to open in September 2027.
Designed as a destination in its own right, the 98-berth superyacht marina brings life on the water into the heart of Wynn Al Marjan Island.
With the capacity to accommodate more yachts and larger vessels than any hotel-attached marina in the UAE, it will introduce a new kind of waterfront experience, connecting those arriving by sea directly with the resort while creating a vibrant setting for guests and visitors.
"Wynn Marina has been conceived as a direct extension of Wynn Al Marjan Island," said Max Tappeiner, President of Wynn Al Marjan Island.
"Guests will move effortlessly between life on the water and experiences throughout the resort, from dining and entertainment to accommodations and waterfront amenities. It is not simply a place to berth a yacht, but an integral part of the destination," he stated.
A distinctive new landmark
At the heart of Wynn Marina sits a distinctive circular harbour, transforming the conventional marina layout into a defining feature of the resort. Visible from surrounding accommodations, terraces, restaurants and promenades, it will create an ever-changing backdrop of yachts, waterfront activity and Arabian Gulf sunsets.
Accommodating super and megayachts of up to 85m in length, Wynn Marina will be the first truly integrated resort marina experience in the region, connecting visiting vessels directly with the wider resort experience.
For yacht owners, charter guests, captains and crew, that experience will begin from the moment of arrival, said the developer.
Overseen by the operational expertise of Fort Lauderdale-based IGY Marinas, Wynn Marina will combine industry-leading harbour management with Wynn's thoughtful approach to hospitality. From dining reservations and transportation to provisioning, onboard celebrations and tailored experiences across the resort, each touchpoint will reflect the hallmarks of Wynn hospitality.
Operational hub for visiting yachts
At the centre of the marina, the landmark Capitainerie will serve as the arrival point and operational hub for visiting yachts, bringing together marina operations, guest services, concierge support, and captain services under one roof.
Guests will be able to check in onboard and directly access the resort's accommodations, dining, entertainment, wellness, and retail experiences.
For resort guests and visitors, the marina will offer a lively waterfront destination, whether dining beside the harbor, strolling the promenade or watching yachts arrive.
Positioned around the marina, Wynn Al Marjan Island's Marina and Ocean Estates will create a connected environment bringing accommodations, yachts, and resort experiences together at the water's edge. The marina will also create new possibilities for celebrations and events, from wedding arrivals by yacht to memorable occasions overlooking the Arabian Gulf, it stated.
From its landmark circular harbour and waterfront accommodations to its integration with the wider destination, Wynn Marina has been conceived as a place where life on the water and life on land come together as one experience, it added.
