Saudi Entertainment Ventures (SEVEN), a wholly owned subsidiary of Qiddiya Investment Company (QIC) and a PIF company, has officially opened the doors of its Abha destination in the Aseer region, marking the launch of the first entertainment destination in the kingdom, said its project management consultant Khatib & Alami (K&A).
Held under the patronage of Prince Turki bin Talal bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Aseer and Chairman of the Aseer Development Authority, the launch represents an important milestone in Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 transformation and the expansion of world-class entertainment experiences across the region.
K&A officials too joined the celebration led by Vice President, PMC & FM, Dani Ghandour, and Project Director, Marwan Abbas along with senior executives of SEVEN and their project partners and stakeholders.
As project management consultant, K&A said it had supported SEVEN Abha throughout its full project lifecycle - from design management and construction supervision through testing, commissioning, handover and operational readiness.
The programme brought together complex attractions, specialist systems and multiple stakeholders within a highly co-ordinated delivery environment.
Lauding the key milestone, K&A officials said the work was moving at a steady pace on SEVEN Jazan.
Another landmark leisure destination from the Saudi PIF company, it is being designed to provide a wide range of recreational and entertainment activities for families and individuals.
SEVEN Jazan will boast key amneities such as cinemas; arcades and gaming zones as well as restaurants and cafes and other family-friendly experiences, they added.
