Saudi-based Sustainable Infrastructure Holding (Sisco Holding) has announced that its portfolio company International Water Distribution Company (Tawzea) has secured a major contract from the kingdom's National Water Company to provide operation and maintenance services for its utility networks and wells in Madinah region.

Under the SAR133.4 million ($35.6 million) contract, Tawzea will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of water distribution networks, transmission pipelines and reservoirs in the Saudi holy city, said the company in its filing to Saudi bourse Tadawul.

Tawzea is one of Sisco Holding’s water sector investments, in which the group holds a 50% stake.

The work also involves maintenance of pumping stations and valve systems as well as well systems and associated infrastructure across the region for a three-year period, it stated.

Sisco Holding said the financial impact of the contract is expected to be reflected starting in the first quarter of 2026.-TradeArabia News Service
