Dubai Contracting Company (DCC) has commenced ground-breaking work for construction of the O14 Tower at Business Bay in cooperation with local consultant Erga.
The Dh300 million ($81.67 million) project is being developed by Creekside Development Company, owned by Al Baraka Islamic Bank, and is due for completion by the first quarter of 2009.
The 22-storey commercial tower offers contemporary and luxurious finishes throughout and will feature a restaurant and convenience store, roof top terrace, valet parking, and a minimum of eight parking spaces per office, according to the developer.
Designed by award-winning architects Reiser and Umemoto RUR of New York, O14 Tower is remarkable for its lace-like façade which carries the 22 levels of custom-designed office floors without the barriers created by conventional columns and walls, providing exceptional levels of light, air and views, he adds.
