Falcon City of Wonders, a Dh5.5 billion ($1.49 billion) mega project in progress within Dubailand, has signed an agreement with the leading consultancy firm Hyder Consulting Middle East to carry out infrastructure design for the project.

Hyder Consulting has a proven track record in the Middle East for providing cost-effective advisory, management, and design services to clients in a variety of market sectors and we are confident that by leveraging their considerable expertise, Hyder Consulting will be able to lend a unique edge to Falcon City.”

Falcon City of Wonders recently participated at the International Property Week, the annual property sales show, which was held at the Dubai International Exhibition Centre last month and displayed a model of the project at the three-day exhibition that generated a huge response from all the visitors.
Falcon City of Wonders, shaped to represent the falcon, emblematic of the UAE’s heritage and spread over an area of four million sq m, is a unique, purpose-built community project featuring structures based on the architectural wonders of the world, such as the Pyramids, the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, the Eiffel Tower and the Taj Mahal among others. In addition, the project also comprises villas, apartments, shopping malls, hotels, restaurants, health clubs, schools and parks.
* Plantation Holdings has announced the completion of the first phase of the Equestrian and Polo Club project, which is being built at Dubailand. The corporation said the first polo fields, being built on an area of more than 20 million sq ft of the project, would open in October. 
Work, meanwhile, is continuing on phase two.
