Palfinger – a leading Austrian manufacturer of innovative lifting, loading and handling solutions at the interfaces of the transport chain – has recently launched its revolutionary Access PA 20 T lifting platforms, which offer several advantages to the end-user.

A particular advantage of the new KTL (katophosphatized electro-dip coat)-coated lifting platform is its light aluminium boom system, says a company spokesman.  “Efficiency, cost effectiveness and retaining its value is what really counts in the business of durable, capital goods and the Access range of lifting platforms from Palfinger meet these requirements in every respect,” he says.
With the Access range of aerial work platforms, Palfinger presents an innovative and top-quality product that incorporates the company’s extensive know-how and wealth of experience.
“Work platforms from Palfinger stand out, thanks to their easy operation and handling, maximum reliability and long service life,” he adds.
Initially, the new work platforms are being offered for vehicles with a maximum permissible weight of 3.5 tonnes for three different working heights: up to 13 m (PA 13 T), 16.5 m (PA 17 T) and up to 20 m (PA 20 T). The 3.5-tonne class of truck is a very important market segment in particular for rental firms, because these vehicles can be rented and driven by anyone holding a valid car driving licence, he says.
“During the development of Access, Palfinger placed great importance on not exceeding the total weight upper limit and achieved this excellently by using an aluminium boom system with an extension cylinder and chain drive. Users such as local authorities, power suppliers and building management companies will also benefit and increase their own efficiency with such a product, thanks to its low dead weight, excellent extension and retraction of the extension booms, and sensitive steerage,” the spokesman concludes.
