THE 13th Project Management Institute-Arabian Gulf Chapter (PMI-AGC) International Conference will be held under the theme ‘Delivering value and productivity through project management (PM): lessons learned from the boom and bust cycles’.

The event, which runs from January 24 to 26, 2011 at the Gulf Hotel in Bahrain, provides a dedicated platform to address project management challenges across the GCC. It will be held under the patronage of Bahrain’s Prime Minister His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa.

Several project management practitioners, engineers, planners, academicians and management executives from the UAE have already confirmed participation at the event.

Aside from the construction industry, the conference also targets project management practitioners from other sectors such as banking, telecommunication, finance and IT, in addition to focusing on environmental leadership and human dimensions of project management.
