Manet Construct... new addition to the product line.

Dorma-Glas, which has developed into one of the world's leading suppliers of glass fittings, offering a complete range of hardware for toughened glass systems, internal glass doors and horizontal sliding partitions, continues to introduce innovative products and boost its portfolio of acquisitions to offer clients an even wider choice of products.

Since its establishment in 1978, Dorma-Glas has been a source of inspiration for specifiers, designers and architects with fittings for interior and exterior applications, says a spokesman for the Germany-based company.

Its success is due in no small measure to its keen quality awareness and innovative approach to the ongoing search for ever-better solutions, he points out.

''A virtually all-encompassing product portfolio, solid quality and a service capability tailored to the requirements of the company's agents and partners count among the core competencies of Dorma-Glas,'' the spokesman says. ''Consistent with a corporate concept of maximising customer benefit, the company's quality management system has also been registered to ISO 9001.

''The increasing requirements emanating from the architectural side are regarded by Dorma-Glas as an incentive not just to follow current trends but also to set new standards of its own. The company prides itself in its ability to inspire architects and specifiers with new and creative product ideas.

''One of its core activities revolves around classic glass hardware. A high level of investment has been injected into the development of the Arcos design line of prestige glass system fittings.

''With its Manet range, the company's Door Design division is able to offer a hardware system - based on an elegant array of single-point fixings for glazing and toughened glass assemblies - that enjoys a high level of international acceptance amongst architects and specifiers alike.

''Dorma-Glas can boast a sound footing in a growth market that is tending more and more towards glass and stainless steel. Hence also the company's strong commitment to its HSW Manet horizontal sliding partition system which offers the same exacting design credentials.

''The Manet product family until now was predominantly identifiable in its guise as Manet Compact, the modular system for swing and sliding doors, and Manet Concept, a comprehensive hardware line for a wide range of interior glass architecture applications. This has now been further extended to include exterior glass construction applications. With Manet Construct it is now possible to apply the same elegance of design facade glazing systems while at the same time meeting all the relevant safety criteria.''

Last October, Dorma-Glas acquired the Rodan brand and with it a product range that has already made a name for itself on the international market for its design and engineering excellence, according to the spokesman.

''With the patented glass clamp mountings and tie elements of this marque, Dorma-Glas has succeeded in extending its competence in the supply of sophisticated system solutions to include the more intricate forms of glass construction,'' he comments.
