Saudi Anfal Factory for Automatic Doors is opening new avenues to business as part of a drive to expand throughout the Middle East.
The Riyadh-based manufacturer and supplier recently opened a branch office in Dubai, UAE, and plans to follow suit in other GCC states soon, according to its regional general director Monkez Alwani.
Established in 1990, Saudi Anfal Factory has its head office, manufacturing plant and warehouse in Riyadh. It has 39 branch offices - 15 of which are located in the capital city - as well as several sub-distributors within the Kingdom.
Saudi Anfal Factory manufactures roll-up doors using technical expertise from Airport Doors of Australia and window shutters under licence from Somfy of France.
In addition, the company is the dealer for top-of-the-line doors from Wayne-Dalton of the US, the Chamberlain Group of the US and CAME of Italy.
The company undertakes a complete installation and maintenance service of all these products and commands a 50 per cent market share within Saudi Arabia, according to Alwani.
At this year's SaudiBuild, Saudi Anfal will be showing off a comprehensive line of automatic roll-up doors and shutters, window shutters and gates and security systems.
"We exhibited at previous SaudiBuild events and had an excellent response from architects, engineers, contractors as well as building owners," says Alwani. "And at this year's event, we will be focusing on further promoting our business and spotlighting new products and technology."
Saudi Anfal Factory goal is to further boost its presence in Saudi Arabia and the rest of the region. The year 2001 has been good for the manufacturer, with business up by nearly a third over last year's levels, according to Alwani.
"One of our key selling points is that we market ultra-modern, genuine products at reasonable prices, backed by a warranty of 10 years," he says. "Statistics bear witness to Saudi Anfal's success in the market, with over 150,000 satisfied customers."
"We have a special quality control team monitoring our production process and our customer support (maintenance) division is available round-the-clock."
The company believes in marketing only the very best, which is why it represents leading brands such as Wayne-Dalton, Chamberlain and CAME, he says.
Saudi Anfal Factory recently upgraded its factory with new machinery imported from SKB of Malaysia, for the manufacture of roll-up shutters.
Recent projects which the company has executed include a SR1.94 million ($517,000) contract for roll-up doors to the Bin Dayal Markets in Riyadh, a SR150,000 order for swing doors to the Passports Office in Riyadh, a SR153,000 contract for barriers to Saudi Railways and a SR432,000 deal for roll-up doors to Al-Rajhi Corporation in Riyadh.
Saudi Anfal Factory's doors and gates will be on show at stand 6008.
