Saudi-based Abdullah Al Othaim Investment Company has unveiled Konoz (Box of Treasures in Arabic), a SR7-billion ($1.86 billion) development in Riyadh featuring a host of residential, commercial and leisure components.
Spread over a 50,000-sq-m area, Konoz will boast cutting-edge commercial offices, retail and F&B outlets in addition to a 20,000-sq-m entertainment city, a luxury hotel and serviced apartments, as well as a premium residential offering with ample green space, making it a top destination for tourism and entertainment, said the company.
Designed by leading global architectural firm Benoy, the project is inspired by the diverse array of gemstones, which are embodied in the visual and architectural representation of the various zones in Konoz.
The project features 15,000 sq m of green areas, parking for 5,500 vehicles, a 120,000-sq-m commercial centre, a 250-key luxury hotel, 120 serviced residential apartments and a 700-unit residential apartment complex.
