Damac Properties has announced the launch of Gems Estates, an ultra-luxurious collection of high-end five- to seven-bedroom mansions within the Damac Hills community in Dubai.
Damac said the villa exteriors will be branded by Swiss jeweller de Grisogono, while the home interiors will be branded by Italian fashion house Roberto Cavalli, making it the first co-branded real estate project in the world.
The artistic style of Gems Estates is inspired by the famous Austrian symbolist painter Gustav Klimt and the inspiration comes from shapes and curves, reflected in the exterior of villas. The colour theme is black diamonds and gold textures, it stated.
According to Damac, Gems Estates will be the last villa additions to the award-winning Damac Hills, which is its first master development located on Umm Suqeim Road and Hessa Street. It features a wide array of entertainment and leisure amenities including a skate park, fishing lakes, horse stables, a petting farm and sports facilities for its residents.
In September of last year, Damac Properties launched Cavalli Tower, an ultra-luxurious 70-storey tower located in Dubai Marina, while earlier this year, the company unveiled the Safa One and Safa Two towers located in Safa Park overlooking the Dubai Canal. These premium towers will be branded by de Grisogono.
Meanwhile, Damac said it has awarded contracts worth AED313.5 million ($85.3 million) to Engineering Construction & Reconstruction Company for completing the main works related to the last batch of 190 villas within its Bel Air cluster located in The Trump Estates at Damac Hills, an island cluster surrounded by the golf course in Dubai.
The cluster facilities include landscaped streetways, a community park, kids’ play area and a swimming pool.
Announcing the contract award, Damac said so far, the infrastructure deep services have been completed.
Engineering Construction & Reconstruction Company had also been appointed the main contractor for Damac Hills’ Golf Gate cluster, formerly known as Golf Vita B, to carry out main works.
The project will feature a 30-floor residential building neighbouring the completed Golf Vita A building. Facilities in the cluster will include apartments with golf views, a swimming pool and a gym.
