The new health centre will provide wellbeing services to the Neom community.

Saudi Arabia’s futuristic $500-billion city Neom has appointed Burj Al Shifa Medical Complex to design, construct and operate a new health and wellness centre within the mammoth development.

Burj Al Shifa Medical Complex is being managed by International SOS-Al Rushaid, a major provider of complete and integrated medical services solutions for onshore and offshore clients.

Founded in 2018, International SOS-Al Rushaid Company is a joint venture between International SOS and leading Saudi conglomerate Al Rushaid Group.

Through this unique partnership, International SOS-Al Rushaid had established a newly renovated emergency, primary and occupational health clinic under the name of Burj Al Shifa Medical Complex in Dammam.

The state-of-the-art, smart and sustainable primary healthcare centre, the Neom Community Advanced Health Center, will provide health and wellbeing services to the Neom community and is scheduled to open during the first half of this year. 

Following its opening, Burj Al Shifa Medical Complex will operate and maintain the centre for three years with a potential extension of 18 months.

Neom is the vision of HRH Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman and a centrepiece of Saudi Arabia’s 2030 Vision plan to grow and diversify the Saudi economy and play a leading role in global development. The project will incorporate communities, ports and enterprise zones, research centres, sports and entertainment venues, and tourist destinations covering a total area of 26,500 sq m. It will be the home and workplace for more than a million residents from around the world.
