WHEN it makes its debut appearance at this year’s gulfInteriors, Almoayyed Furnishing is hoping to grab the attention of a wide audience of visitors including interior designers, property managers and developers, architects, and key decision-makers in both the construction and property industries at the exhibition.
“Almoayyed Furnishing hopes to increase its profile among this demographic section,” says Reem Behzad, the divisional manager of the Bahrain-based company.
In addition, it intends to highlight its expertise in interior designing and project management while promoting its core activities involving home and office furnishing at the show. “Technically, we are raising the profile of Almoayyed Furnishing as a total solutions service provider,” says Behzad.
Almoayyed Furnishing can cover the whole project management process from:
• Idea conceptualisation through meetings with the prospective client on how a home or office will look like;
• 3D visualisation, where an idea is transformed into a visual perspective by the interior design team. Different perspectives are shown via a 3D animated environment;
• Project management, where once a project is approved, Almoayyed Furnishing provides the logistics, expertise and service to construct physically a given design;
• Provision of furniture, enabling the client to source furniture, either residential or office, directly from Almoayyed Furnishing; and
• Turnover of the project to the client.
With a 3,200-sq-m showroom on Sheikh Salman Highway in Sehla, Almoayyed Furnishing offers a wide range of contemporary designed furniture for bedrooms, living rooms, dining rooms, gardens, and offices.
It has an experienced team of interior designers who can advise, design and create interiors and layouts suited for all businesses and individuals. These professionals manage entire projects, create floor plans, conceptualize themes and designs, select the appropriate furniture, fabrics, colours and materials, and also carry out installations. The company’s products and services include:
• Home furnishing: Bedroom, dining and sofa sets, garden furniture, accessories, accent pieces, mattresses and bases, and bedding accessories;
• Work environment: Office chairs, executive desks, receptions, workstations, conference tables, steel furniture, safes, computer furniture, partitions and office systems, auditorium and banquet chairs and school furniture; and
• Interior design: Space planning, floor designs, project management, theme and design concept, initial and detailed design, furniture selection and fabrication, fabrics and fabric accessories and upholstery, installation and supervision, colour and material selection and lighting design.
Despite the ongoing unrest in Bahrain, Almoayyed Furnishing has seen business improve dramatically compared to last year. In fact, it recently opened a Springwall Mattress section in its showroom, featuring the various types of mattresses.
In line with its plan to carry out its campaign ‘Designers Living at Affordable Prices’, the company intends to expand its showroom within a few years.
The company’s interior design team has undertaken prestigious projects including those for the ministries of health, education and justice, Bahrain Defence Force Hospital, the Bahrain Telecommunications Company (Batelco), Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), Eskan Bank, and Aluminum Bahrain (Alba).
Some of its recent projects include supply of mattresses and bases to Bahrain Property Musharaka Trust Holdings; loose and custom-made furniture to the Ministry of Housing; workstations to Alba; and fit-out works at the BCCI.
Almoayyed Furnishing employs 42 people and enjoys an annual turnover of $5 million. It will be at Stand 2C61 at gulfInteriors.
