AUSA, a Spain-headquartered manufacturer of industrial vehicles, has opened a new regional subsidiary based in Dubai.

Located on Sheikh Zayed Road, Ausa Middle East will be tasked with strengthening the parent’s sales across the Middle East, and promoting its new urban range of vehicles.

“This region now accounts for four per cent of overall export sales and the objective is to reach five per cent by the end of 2011. This is a very realistic goal if we consider that Ausa sales in the Asia-Middle East region showed a triple-digit increase in the first quarter of this year,” said Ausa Middle East manager Manel Serrano.

Established in 1956, Ausa specialises in the design and manufacture of compact industrial vehicles for use in municipalities, industry, green zones, construction and public works, agriculture and mining.
