THE fourth Milano Architettura Design Edilizia (Made) expo, the international architecture and building trade show, will focus on sustainable and environment-friendly architecture.
To be held at Fiera Milano in Milan, Italy, next month (October 5 to 8), the event will feature an environment-friendly initiative called AAA (Agriculture, Food, Architecture) which will highlight current trends in environment-friendly and sustainable design and construction, focusing on projects from top international architects including Emilio Ambasz of Argentina, Zaha Hadid of the UK, Italy’s Carlo Ratti Associati, Dickson Despommier of the US, and Verde 360 from Mexico.
As part of the AAA initiative, a convention titled ‘Bring the Forest into the City’ will be held.
The Made expo will also see the return of the Building Technology Forum with a busy calendar of conferences, a new hall called Components and Contracts which will focus on contract design and interior decoration, and Hamlets and Historical Centres, which will address redevelopment and enhancement of the huge heritage of over 5,000 hamlets and historical centres throughout Italy.
