Crushing power

The BF120.4 ... largest in the range.

MB, a global leader in the production and sales of bucket crushers, has launched a new version of its BF bucket crushers, which is a product of its ongoing investments in technological research and the continuous attention to customer needs.

The product was unveiled at Intermat 2009, an international exhibition of equipment, machinery and techniques for civil engineering and construction, held last April in Paris, France.
“The classic model has been transformed to offer an even more revolutionary product on the market, thanks to the in-depth research of the MB team and technical engineers,” says a spokesman for MB. “The company is committed to ensuring customer satisfaction, being ever attentive to their needs, listening carefully to problems faced every day on construction sites, and finding solutions that best suit the various international situations in which MB operates.”
The new version of the bucket crusher is more robust at work, while featuring a more compact size and an improved structural layout to facilitate the operator manoevring the excavator.
MB’s product range includes the BF60.1, which is the smallest in the range and is ideal for excavators weighing from 8 to 14 tonnes; and BF70.2, for small to medium crushing jobs and is designed for excavators weighing from 14 to 20 tonnes. The BF90.3 was MB’s first bucket crusher for use with excavators weighing from 20 to 28 tonnes. The largest model in the range is the BF120.4 – to be promoted at The Big 5 show – which has been built for jobs in large construction sites, and is suitable for excavators weighing more than 28 tonnes. It weighs 4.9 tonnes, with a crusher jaw opening 120 by 45 cm and a bucket capacity of 1 cu m. The output size is adjustable between 20 and 120 mm with average hourly output between 25 and 50 cu m (depending on the required product size).
“The pressure applied by the bucket reaches 1,300 atmospheres and the thrust of the upper jaw onto the lower jaw reaches 11,000 tonnes; this enables the crushing of any type of material except for iron, which is in any event separated, thanks to the use of the MB iron separator,” says the spokesman.
The iron separator was created to meet the need for a tool able to separate iron from other materials after crushing.
These products can be used in a wide range of applications including in demolition, roadworks, excavations, quarries and mines and environmental reclamation jobs.
“Despite the global economic crisis that is affecting all sectors, MB confirms its success and continues to invest in research and development, giving priority to vertical specialisation in the production of a single product to guarantee high-quality and top-performing bucket crushers,” says the spokesman. “Also, MB’s participation in major national and international events in this sector has enabled it to establish and strengthen relationships and client loyalty.”
MB, set up in Breganze, Italy, in 2001, exports to 100 countries and is renowned for the innovative features and technology of its products and the quality of its service. The ability to respond to market demands and provide technical assistance to its numerous clients have contributed to the growth of the MB brand worldwide, the spokesman concludes.
