HARRIS Products Group will be launching a new cutting torch at this year’s Big 5 that features a built-in head mixer and the three tube traditional Harris triangle design, with a top stainless steel cutting lever and side adjusting valve.

Torch Model 242 combines the best features from the existing Harris cutting torches range, says a spokesman for the company, which is part of the US-based Lincoln Electric Group.
The Harris Products Group was officially formed in May, 2006, following the integration of Harris Calorific and JW Harris Company.
Harris Calorific is a pioneering manufacturer of gas welding and cutting equipment, whose discovery of the oxyacetylene method of cutting and welding equipment led to the manufacture of the US’s first flame-cutting torch. JW Harris is a manufacturer of brazing and soldering alloys and welding consumables.
The group includes facilities in the US, Italy, Ireland, Poland, Spain and Mexico, giving it a broad global footprint.
