The company is leveraging its tie-up with two world-renowned manufacturers Japan-based Yanmar Construction Equipment Company (for compact excavators) and US-based Mustang (for skid-steer loaders) to offer the package. These machines – available in capacities ranging from 0.8 tonnes to 10 tonnes for compact excavators and two tonnes to 3.3 tonnes for skid-steer loaders –  are sold in the entire Gulf market through dual channels of direct sales and through dealership network.
“The Gulf markets are currently witnessing a massive construction drive in overall infrastructure development, which requires the ready availability of technologically-advanced and use-friendly construction machinery to cope with the increasing shortage of manpower resources and enable the timely completion of projects without cost escalation. We fully appreciate the importance and necessity of timely completion of contracts, which demand the optimum usage of the machinery at the job sites,” says Al Mahroos. “Therefore, our idea of packaging these two different machines would enable our customers to not only deploy each machine for a different application at the same time as well as get two products at a very competitive price, as compared to buying a single unit of backhoe loader.
“Also, if one of the machines is down due to any reason, the customer would still be able to work with the other machine in carrying out that particular job, whereas in the case where only a backhoe loader is procured, if the machine is down, then the customer cannot carry out any activity, resulting in wastage of time and money,” he adds.
