Dorma, the world market leader in door controls, movable walls, automatic door systems and glass fittings and accessories, has seen massive growth in its operations across the Middle East, and cites the region as its biggest area of growth globally over the past three years – a trend that it expects to continue.
While achieving significant growth in its sales figures last year, the Germany-based company has added to its impressive portfolio that includes iconic projects of the region.
“While the growth in Dubai and the UAE has been huge, we have also seen a rise in demand from across the region, particularly from customers who have a need for high-quality, innovative solutions and systems that incorporate top standards in design, safety and security,” says Ben Shaw, regional director of Dorma Gulf, the Middle East office for Dorma.
“Our projects have included the Burj Dubai, downtown Jebel Ali and the Dubai World Central airport project in the UAE, Faisaliah tower in Riyadh in Saudi Arabia and many other projects in Pakistan, Iran, Egypt and the Levant countries. Service personnel are also being hired in order to ensure smooth installation and maintenance of the systems in the region,” he adds.
