32Group – the owner and developer of the Dubai Sunny Mountain Skidome – aims to start the construction of the project early next year. 

“Preparations are under way to beat the estimated time schedule,” a spokesman said. ‘‘The project will spread over 1.4 million sq ft within Dubailand’s Attractions and Experiences World.’’
32Group is bringing the Arctic winter and wintersports to Dubailand in a unique project that is estimated to cost more than Dh1 billion. The project consists of a steel structure dome that will include a revolving ski slope. An artificial mountain range, an ice-bridge, a cable-lift, snowmaze, ice-slide, polar bears, cold water aquaria and special light and sound effects are some of the features that will be integrated into the development.
