Fujairah Cement, established 20 years ago in Dibba, Fujairah, claims to be the largest cement factory in the UAE with 1.2 million tonnes of clinker capacity and 1.6 million tonnes of grinding capacity.

The plant employs the latest dry process technology with highly sophisticated, centralised control system, according to the spokesman. The X-ray analysers and the other latest testing equipment help continuous product monitoring of chemical data at each stage of production to ensure high quality.

The company was accredited to ISO 9002 in 1999, in addition to several other awards for high quality and technology, he says.

Fujairah Cement's products have been extensively used in most of the major construction projects in the UAE and the neighbouring AGCC countries.
