Tadano, a leading Japanese manufacturer of hydraulic truck cranes, said it has secured a major order of 11 rough-terrain cranes from a UAE-based company Aertssen Machinery Services.
Tadano said the order was for four GR-500EXL cranes that have already been handed over and seven GR-1450EX cranes which will be delivered in the coming year.
Aertssen Machinery Services has been using Tadano rough-terrain cranes for many years. With this new order, the firm continues its strategy of standardising its fleet with Tadano cranes.
“This is in keeping with the old soccer rule ‘never change a winning team’,” remarked Middle East Aertssen Business Unit Manager Tony Nuyts. “Tadano GR rough-terrain cranes are extremely powerful and heavy-duty machines, and that makes them an indispensable part of our team.”
Nuyts pointed out that the pitch for the new Tadano GR models would be the work sites where Aertssen is carrying out projects for its local energy sector and construction customers.
“They will be fulfilling all of our customer’s lifting needs there,” remarked Nuyts. “Aertssen bought all 11 cranes with all the bells and whistles in order to be prepared for any eventuality – like always!,” he added.
