Bahrain-based developer Eureka for Smart Properties says it has won top honours for its premium residential project Violet at the Bahrain Smart Cities Summit 2021.

The first building with fully automated smart home solutions at Amwaj Islands, Violet offers a mix of one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments, says the company.

Established in 2014, Eureka is a leading provider of automation, smart enabled ELV, and smart living solutions.

The Smart City Solutions – Smart Buildings Award was presented to Eureka at a key ceremony held on October 11 at the Gulf Hotel’s Gulf Conventions Centre. The event was inaugurated by Works, Municipalities and Urban Planning Minister Essam bin Abdulla Khalaf in the presence of Housing Minister Bassim bin Yacoob Al Hamar and senior officials.  More than 250 technology, sustainability and smart cities experts and officials from Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and the UAE took part in the two-day event.

Bahrain-based facility and property management company Impact Estate is the exclusive property and facilities manager for Violet.

On the unique concept, Samer Al Shaker, the Chief Technology Officer of Eureka, says smart technologies have been integrated into every apartment in the luxury Violet Residence, hence offering unique living experience by utilising innovative technologies.

“Envision residing in a place where you will be in complete control of the apartment, where your handset converts into remote device, your voice commands, and identity recognition from the moment you step into the building,” he remarks.

Mousa says tenants and buyers have access to features such as remote front-door access, 24-hour video security through their mobile phones, the ability to change temperature and lighting, and management of utilities.
