BAGNODESIGN, a subsidiary of the Dubai-based Sanipex Group, last month opened a 1,800-sq-ft showroom in the UK.
Situated on a prime location on Glasgow’s Great Western Road, it is Bagnodesign’s first fully franchised retail showroom in the UK offering customers the chance to browse and purchase beautiful bathroom products as well as a full design service too.
Earlier in January, Bagnodesign London opened a state-of-the-art 4,000-sq-ft A&D showroom on Lockhart Road, Wan Chai, Hong Kong. The event also marked the official Asia Pacific launch of Urban and Bloomsbury, Bagnodesign’s latest luxury bathroom collections.
Meanwhile, the company has also announced its involvement in the newly opened Pik Palace Hotel in Azerbaijan, part of the Shahdag Mountain Resort, the region’s largest ski resort.
Pik Palace Hotel, the premier luxury destination located 230 km north of Baku, boasts 167 oversized bedrooms and suites. As the sole supplier for the project, Bagnodesign was responsible for supplying the luxury bathroom spaces to the highest quality standards and style specifications. These included guest rooms, presidential suites, private apartments, and lobby, spa and pool areas.
The lavishly designed guest bathrooms include Bagnotec Harmony stone basins, Malmo freestanding bathtubs, Kudos Cube mixers, Kudos Dream water closets, heated towel rails and a variety of stylish accessories to complement the space. Bagnotec Eclipse freestanding bathtubs, handmade from composite stone, are featured within the presidential suites and private apartments.
Guy Wilson, managing director of projects at Bagnodesign, commented: “The development of this project, set in such idyllic surroundings, is a huge boost for tourism in Azerbaijan and we are delighted to be involved. The broad product range in our portfolio more than catered to the design brief with our cutting-edge Bagnotec stone collection taking centre stage.”
“Our product specification team were involved at the design stage to ensure the right choices were made and the volume of orders could be achieved, backed up by the Bagnodesign supply chain and technical support team who ensured the project’s deadlines were met,” he added.
Sanipex group, which was established in Dubai in 1994, initially set up as a regional representative for a handful of European manufacturers.
Today it is a leading player in the supply of bathroom fixtures and fittings, tiles and plumbing materials through its three channels to market – retail, wholesale and projects.
Owned and managed by its British board of directors, the company employs more than 250 staff and conducts business in more than 25 countries.
