

M H Al Mahroos, a leading source of world-class technology-oriented products and services in the region, says it is pleased with the response it has received from clients and customers present at the launch of its new website for spare parts at The Big 5 late last November.
At the premier construction show, held in Dubai, UAE, the Bahrain-based company also announced the opening of its new office at Dubai Investment Park in Dubai as well as its facilities in Saudi Arabia.
The website, said to the first of its kind in the region, has been created to give an added value to the company’s customers, says Talal Al Mahroos, marketing manager, who is pleased with the response received from clients and suppliers who were present at the launch.
“Currently, we are offering spare parts for Genie, Imer, Mikasa and Yanmar with plans to add more brands in the future. We have started with four companies as the quantity of spare parts for these brands are huge. We have almost 20,000 spare parts available on our website.
“The website is based on the latest technologies and is very dynamic. The search engine is very powerful and enables customers to search by brand or model number, by type and even by spare part serial number.”
At The Big 5, the company also showcased construction and access equipment from its portfolio, including access solutions from Genie of the US, compact excavators from Yanmar of Japan, compaction machinery from Mikasa of Japan and concrete mixers and construction hoists from Imer of Italy.
At the show, M H Al Mahroos promoted the new Genie SX-180, the world’s tallest self-propelled boom lift, a 750-litre concrete mixer from Imer, compact road rollers from Mikasa and the new generation of excavators from Yanmar – ViO 17, 20, 35 and 55.

Commenting on the launch of its new Dubai office, he says: “We have set up the facility to meet the needs of our clients and services provided will include supply of machines, spare parts and workshops, backed by account managers.”
Al Mahroos’ facilities in the Jebel Ali Free Zone will serve as a re-export centre especially to the GCC, the wider Middle East and Africa regions.
These facilities will be replicated in the other GCC countries in the upcoming year, says Al Mahroos pointing out that the company has offices in Dubai, and Jeddah, Riyadh and Dammam in Saudi Arabia employing more than 300 people in the GCC.
In terms of business, he says the company is seeing increasing volumes of sales as the number and value of projects increase in the Gulf.
Among the developments that the company is working on are the Four Seasons hotel in Bahrain, the Al Marina project in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia, Hamad International Airport in Qatar as well as other projects in the UAE and Oman through its rental customers.
M H Al Mahroos has been in operation since 1930, serving as a retail and wholesale company that provides spare parts and maintenance for the products it supplies and markets around the GCC.
“Quality products and services are our main target to maintain our position in the entire region,” he says.
