Jaquar’s bathrooms ... transforming the bathing experience.

JAQUAR, the global brand for complete bathroom solutions, showcased its latest innovations in the shower and faucet segment at Saudi Build, the leading construction exhibition in Saudi Arabia, held in Riyadh last month.

Among its diverse range, the company presented what it describes as the “first self-cleaning shower”.

The self-cleaning shower automatically removes deposits from the nozzles, preventing clogging due to water impurities, to give a perfect and even showering experience every time, says a spokesman for the company.

“As you turn on the shower, water pressure pushes the front plate to let water flow through. After every shower, when the water supply stops, the spring retracts automatically and pushes pins through the nozzle holes, making the showerhead clean itself and prevent the build-up of deposits,” he adds.

The company has also launched a new range of products that aims to transform bathing experience to ‘power bathing’ – a new concept of feeling completely rejuvenated and revitalised.

In today’s era of stress, pressure and fatigue, personal wellness, relaxation and luxury are important features in bathrooms, especially to escape from the stressful environment in which we live, says Sandeep Shukla, head of marketing communication.

“With stress becoming a part and parcel of our fast-paced lifestyle, the Jaquar range of bathing products helps you relax your body, calm your nerves and invigorate your senses. A caressing and stimulating ‘power bathing’ experience is, therefore, a must to unwind, replenish and recharge our stressed out bodies,” he says.

with the home.

Besides serving a functional purpose, the bathroom is also a private space that enhances the user’s unique lifestyle.

“With the home becoming more of a social space, designer bathrooms have started to encompass specific and focal features to create a fashionable theme. Call it a freshness boost, a relaxing massage, a cleaning ritual or, in short, simply dub it ‘power bathing’, the modern-day bathroom is very much a personal sanctuary that spells the ultimate in relaxation.

“Manufactured in accordance with stringent European standards, Jaquar’s wide range of products ensures maximum performance and durability and is offered in a choice of designs to complement the consumers’ bathroom décor,” he says.

The range features chrome bathroom fittings that are elegant and luxurious yet minimalistic, says Shukla, adding mirror finish is a new trend in bath fittings.

“Ecologically friendly bathrooms – focused around efforts to sustain natural resources and conserve energy – have become the most popular choice in bath trends. Luxurious and technologically-advanced fixtures such as shower massagers and body jets provide a futuristic showering and bathing experience,” he adds.

“Bathrooms that feature practicality for family use are another popular emerging trend. Large open spaces without constraints and multifunctional innovative fittings are very much in style now,” says Rajesh Mehra, director and promoter of Jaquar Group.

Jaquar, which has been active for the past 50 years, produces more than 60,000 faucets a day, adding over half a million new costumers every year. The company is investing heavily in a regionwide showroom network in order to cater to the retail market.
